I like to give my art students a fun relaxing activity during CSAP. One year we filled trays with shaving cream, sprayed condensed watercolor paint on top and made designs by running a piece of cardboard across the top to create different patterns. We took paper and layed it gently on top to make monoprints. The kids loved it. What do you do in art, music, dance or theater during testing?

I make sure that during CSAP time the students are allowed an array of movement activities when they come to class. This could be songs with body percussion, percussion instruments, or Orff instruments. This is also a time I do activities that students ask to do throughout the year. The art idea above looks great. How fun!
